Sporadic Rant:
Had some trouble updating because I think Chris was doing some server stuff. Either that, or my DNS is acting buggy again. So apologies to anyone else out there who may have been experiencing problems reaching the site.
I started my telecommuting job 3 weeks ago and I'm almost at the last stage in this comic. I don't work in the nude and take scheduled internet porn breaks quite yet, but I can definitely see myself developing in that direction. The crazy thing is, I still do a lot of work. It just comes at more sporadic intervals and takes place at crazy hours of the day.
There have been some new studies lately likening browsing for internet porn to other psychological addictions like gambling. I'd have to say that's true as I have a couple of friends who I believe are borderline net porn addicts. One of my old Indianapolis friends told me that his sense of aesthetics and his appreciation of true female beauty has been ruined because he just can't be attracted to anyone in a picture if there's no outright nudity. I think that's somewhat true; it's far too easy to find naked pictures of random celebrities, so I think a lot of the allure and magic is lost. Okay, weird random rant today, so I'll cut it short. Next topic: New character introduced tomorrow. Eventually, I'll do enough comics to be able to introduce all of my friends. It may be years from now, but I'll definitely have introduced everyone by then.
