Sporadic Rant:
I had to demonstrate my lack of favoritism towards Alison, so I let Andy, Tim, and Robin pen their own dialogue for today's strip. I cleaned up some grammar and added emphasis where needed, but besides that, I left their words alone. I screwed up Robin's exact words, though. She originally wrote, "Palmela Handerson," and I accidentally just made it "Pamela Handerson." Oh well.
I drew the strip up during class and they passed it among each other, each one adding one comment at a time. At the last panel, I finally had to tear it away, otherwise Robin and Andy would have been trading insults all night. In fact, it probably would have escalated to fisticuffs if I hadn't finally intervened. :) That's why hanging around Robin and Andy can be interesting, their banter can get violently vicious and vituperative (note alliteration). Usually they break pretty even, but this time I think Robin had a slight edge in terms of aptness and delivery of verbal barbs. I promise I'll get off my lazy duff tomorrow and actually write one of these darn things myself.
Don't forget to download a blank copy of yesterday's strip so that you can fill it out and submit it to me by the end of the week. Best comic gets put up sometime thereafter and the author will get much love and adoration.
